WSOC: Five Lasers Honored in GNAC All-Conference Awards
Newton, MA- Five players from Lasell University have earned recognition from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) for their performances during the 2024 season.
Camdyn LaMarre and Brianna Marrero were selected to the GNAC Second Team All-Conference. LaMarre, a junior midfielder, led the team with 10 goals and 6 assists for a total of 26 points. She played in all 19 games, starting 18, and was a consistent offensive force throughout the season. Marrero, a sophomore defender, was a key piece of the back line, starting every game and adding 1 goal while helping anchor a defense that allowed less than one goal per game.
Michelina D'Agostino and Elizabeth DaSilva were named to the GNAC Third Team. D'Agostino, a senior midfielder, was a crucial part of the attack with 6 goals and 3 assists across 19 starts, finishing third on the team in total points (15). DaSilva, a junior goalkeeper, started all 19 games, posting a 0.99 goals against average, a .818 save percentage, and recording four shutouts across 1,644 minutes played.
Senior Isabella Goral was named to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team, recognized for her leadership and sportsmanship on and off the field. Goral appeared in 7 games this season and tallied an assist.
