New London, NH- The Lasell women's soccer team delivered an impressive performance, defeating Mitchell College 5-0 in a decisive match.
The Lasers established control early, with Michelina D'Agostino scoring twice in the first 21 minutes, both assisted by Destani Alua-Rioux. Julia Vaillancourt added another goal shortly after, extending the lead to 3-0 by the end of the first half.
The second half continued in Lasell's favor, as Camdyn LaMarre scored twice, first unassisted and then assisted by Alex Delaney, bringing the final score to 5-0.
Lasell dominated in shots, outshooting Mitchell 34-1, while also earning 13 corner kicks compared to Mitchell's none. Goalkeeper Elizabeth DaSilva made 1 save in 29 minutes, while Regan Sullivan and Lataya Simmons combined for the remainder of the game without facing any shots. Mitchell's goalkeepers, Ronnie Keays and Hannah Penn, recorded a total of 14 saves but were unable to stop the relentless Lasell offense.
