The Lasell College women's soccer team participated in the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield's annual Polar Express Train Ride for the second year in a row over the past weekend.
SPRINGFIELD, MA- The New England Women’s Intercollegiate Soccer Association announced the 2010 recipients for Division III All-New England Honors on Monday afternoon. Coming off an incredible junior year, Lasell College’s goalkeeper Elizabeth Stickley received an Honorable Mention from the association.
WALTHAM, MA -The Williams College Ephs women’s soccer team knocked the Lasell College Lasers from the 2010 NCAA Tournament with a 3-0 victory on Saturday afternoon on Marcus Field at Brandeis University. The Ephs and Lasers battled through a 0-0 tie for over 68 minutes before the NCAA Division III 9th ranked team in the country scored the game-decider, at 68:49.
NEWTON, MA- The Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Champions Lasell College swept all three weekly awards this week taking Player, Goalkeeper, and Rookie of the Week honors. NEWTON, MA- Six Lasell College women’s soccer players earned spots on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference All-Conference teams for the 2010 season. Laser goalkeeper Elizabeth Stickley (Mashpee, MA) and midfielder Jordynn Frollo (Uxbridge, MA) took first team honors, forward Jamie Harris (Lynnfield, MA) and defender Molly Clarke (Berlin, CT) were selected on the second team, and defender Meredith Hessler (Middletown, RI) and midfielder Allyson Bushey (Westminster, MA) took places on the third team.

NEWTON, MA- Sophomore Reegan Brackett (Scarborough, ME) and freshman Sam Peck (Woodbury, CT) paired up for the solo goal of the contest which sealed up the Lasell College women’s soccer team victory over Johnson & Wales University on Thursday afternoon at Taylor Field. With the win, Lasell locked up second place overall in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference with an 11-3-3 overall and an 8-2-2 GNAC record. In the defeat, Johnson & Wales finishes 6th in the league with an 8-10-1 overall and a 6-5-1 GNAC slate.
NEWTON, MABoth Lasells mens and womens soccer team goalkeepers were selected for the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Goal Keeper of the Week award on Monday. Matthew Bruninghaus (Plymouth, MA) was honored for the third time this season by the GNAC while Elizabeth Stickley (Mashpee, MA) was recognized for the first time this year.
NEWTON, MA- Freshman forward Jamie Harris (Lynnfield, MA) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week on Monday. This is the second time the rookie has been awarded the weekly award this season.
NEWTON , MA- Rhode Island College womens soccer team turned around a 3-0 first half deficit to knot up the score 4-4 in the final minute of regulation against non-league opponent Lasell College on Tuesday. The deadlock tie would stand up through two overtime sessions leaving the Lasers unbeaten at home (5-0-3) holding a 10-3-3 overall record. The Anchorwomen stand at 9-4-1 overall.
