Ashley Parrelli Named GNAC Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week

NEWTON, MA— Lasell College's Ashley Parrelli, a sophomore from Marshfield, Massachusetts, was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference women's soccer Goalkeeper of the Week.

Parrelli was honored after having an outstanding performance in Lasell's first win of the season over the weekend at the 2010 Lotto Invitational Tournament, hosted by St. Lawrence University.  Parrelli made seven saves in her season debut, en route to the 2-1 triumph over Clarkson University.   The sophomore holds a .875 save percentage so far this season.

This is a first time honor for Parrelli from the GNAC.
