NEWTON, Mass. (2/29/16) – Lasell women’s basketball senior guard Katie Stopera (Hollis, N.H.) earned Great Northeast Athletic (GNAC) Second Team honors as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
A trio of Lasers scored in double figures, but the women's basketball team couldn't overcome a 30 point fourth quarter outburst by Johnson and Wales.
The women's basketball team started the day by recognizing their senior class, and capped off their 77-58 victory over the University of St. Joseph's (Conn.) with Katie Stopera becoming the program's all-time leading scorer.
