Smith and Knuth Top Lasell Finishers in Women's X-C at ECAC's

BRISTOL, R.I. (11/9/13) – The Lasell College women's cross country team placed 37^th out of 47 teams at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships this Saturday November 9^th. The Lasers were led by Jessica Smith and Rachel Knuth who placed 128^th and 172 respectively in a field of over 325 runners.

Smith clocked a time of 25:49 over the 6K course and was followed less than a minute later by Rachel Knuth with a time of 26:48. Solange Carpenter finished 197^th with a time of 27:20 and being followed by Elizabeth Bennett in 29:57, Alaina Eldredge in 31:54 and Emily Kochanek in a time of 39:11.

The Lasell women's cross country team will wrap up their 2013 schedule this weekend, Saturday November 16^th when they travel to the NCAA regional meet for a 12:00 race.
