Women's Cross Country Finishes Fifth at Running Monks Invitational

Standish, Maine - The Lasell College women's cross country team put together their best performance of the year, taking fifth place overall in the Running Monks Invitational. St. Joseph's College (Me.) took home the team title, with Maine-Farmington, Emerson College, the University of New England and Lasell rounding out the top five.
Solange Carpenter (23:05) finished first for Lasell and tenth place overall, followed by Jamie Russo (24:11) in 17th, Rachel Knuth (24:26) in 20th, Jess Smith (25:29) in 33rd, Alaina Eldredge (30:34) in 55th and Emily Kochanek (33:52) in 60th.
