Lasell's Missett Completes Raiders Invitational with 3rd Place Finish
Nashua, NH—A third place finish by sophomore Meghan Missett (Lowell, Mass.) paced the Lasers at the 2009 Raiders Cross Country Invitational held by Rivier College on Friday. Ariella Harrington (Woburn, Mass.) also finished in the top ten, finishing in 8th place overall at the race.

Missett was a strong front runner that held up the lead on the 5K course up until the final half mile in the women's race before finishing her impressive individual performance with a time of 21:52. Senior Harrington closed the course less than a minute later at 22:51.
Lasell's Stephanie Hauck (Westwood, Mass.) was the third finisher for the Lasers, ending in the 23rd spot and running a time of 24:55.
Following Hauck were sophomores Cheree Iadevaia (Warwick, RI) and Cate Hart (Dedham, Mass.). Iadevaia finished at 29:03 while Hart ended at 33:16.
Ten total teams competed in the Raiders Invitational with the Lasers coming in seventh place as a team overall.
Lasell competes next at the 2009 Pop Crowell Invitational put on by Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts on Saturday, October 3rd.
