WVB: Caro Earns Libero of the Year; Four Others Honored
Newton, MA- The GNAC has announced its All-Conference honorees, with Lasell University earning an impressive five selections across the league's postseason awards.
Leading the way is senior libero Madeline Caro, who was named GNAC Libero of the Year for the second consecutive season and secured a spot on the All-Conference First Team. Caro anchored the Lasers' defense with 303 digs, averaging 3.65 per set—ranking ninth nationally in digs per set and 39th in NCAA Division III for total digs.
Caro is joined on the First Team by senior Morgan Bogli and junior Victoria Pariseault. Bogli capped off her Lasell career as the team's top offensive threat, recording 239 kills, 73 aces, and 55 blocks. Pariseault posted one of her strongest seasons to date, appearing in 23 matches and contributing 132 kills along with 63 blocks—good for fourth in the GNAC.
Senior Sydney Katz earned Second-Team All-Conference honors after a standout season in which she competed in all 29 matches. Katz commanded the offense with 650 assists, while also adding 175 digs and 24 blocks, making her a reliable all-around presence on the court.
Sophomore Trinity Silva rounds out Lasell's All-Conference selections, finishing the year as the team's second-leading offensive option with 184 kills, 33 blocks, and 27 aces.
Finally, Saige Cambonga-Meyers was selected to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team. The sophomore appeared in 16 matches and contributed 112 assists and 44 digs.
