Newton, MA- The Lasers celebrated Senior Day in style, with two dominant sweeps over GNAC opponents Albertus Magnus and Rivier University.
Lasell vs Rivier
Lasell controlled the match from start to finish, taking sets 25–15, 25–19, and 25–18 behind a balanced offensive effort and efficient team hitting at .250 overall. Senior outside hitter Morgan Bogli led the way with 14 kills, 7 digs, and 16 total points, while Andrea Aceituno added a strong all-around performance with 9 kills, 3 service aces, and 14 digs. Shantte Siliezar matched Aceituno with 9 kills of her own and chipped in on defense with 3 digs.
Setter Sydney Katz orchestrated the offense with 28 assists and contributed 16 digs defensively, while Michelle Frenchwas highly efficient at the net, posting 6 kills on a .667 hitting percentage and 3 block assists. Defensively, Madeline Caro anchored the back line with a match-high 16 digs, helping the Lasers limit Rivier to just a .053 team hitting percentage. The Lasers finished the match with 43 kills, 5 aces, and 10 total blocks, dominating both ends of the court.
Lasell vs Albertus Magnus
Lasell's offense was firing on all cylinders, hitting .342 as a team and closing the match with authority in the third set, where the Lasers posted an incredible .500 hitting percentage.
Bogli led the charge with 5 kills on .625 hitting and a career-best 7 service aces, totaling 12 points in just one set of action. Estella Feenstra also shined with 5 kills and 4 aces, while Siliezar tallied 6 kills, 3 assists, and 5 block assists for a strong all-around showing. French and Kyra Paris were dominant at the net, each hitting .500 or better with a combined 5 block assists, and Katz efficiently ran the offense with 19 assists and a .500 attack percentage of her own.
As a team, Lasell recorded 37 kills, 14 service aces, and 10 total blocks, while holding the Falcons to a negative hitting percentage (-.033).
