WVB: WE'RE IN; Lasers Head to Johns Hopkins to Compete in NCAA Tournament

Newton, MA- As announced during the NCAA Division III Selection Show on Monday afternoon, the Lasell University Women's Volleyball team will once again be competing in the NCAA Division III Championship as part of the 64-team field. This will be the Lasers second straight appearance, where they will once again travel to Johns Hopkins to compete in the regional pod. 

This past Saturday, the Lasers took home the GNAC Championship title in back-to-back seasons. The win gave them an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament which starts this upcoming Thursday afternoon. Lasell will head to Maryland to take on the Ithaca College Bombers in a 2pm matchup.

Thursday, November 21 – First Round
Smith (30-6) vs. Endicott (22-7) – 11:30 a.m.
Ithaca (22-6) vs. Lasell (30-5) – 2 p.m.
Cortland (26-5) vs. Carnegie Mellon (19-11) – 4:30 p.m.
Johns Hopkins (29-2) vs. Bridgewater State (13-9) – 7 p.m.
 
Friday, November 22 – Second Round
Johns Hopkins/Bridgewater State vs. Cortland/Carnegie Mellon
Smith/Endicott vs. Ithaca/Lasell
 
Saturday, November 23 – Regional Final
