NEWTON, Mass. (11/9/16) -- Lasell College women's volleyball sophomore Olivia Addington (Orange, Calif.) was named to the All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Second Team, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Addington, who was also named to the GNAC's All-Sportsmanship Team for the second straight year, is the first Laser to earn All-Conference honors since 2013.
Playing in all 31 matches this season, Addington led the Lasers and ranked fifth in the GNAC with 356 total kills. She also ranked among conference leaders with 398 points (seventh), 3.42 kills per set (seventh), and 1,247 total attacks (third) while also ranking second on the team in digs with 314.
Addington was the only Lasell player this season to average more than three kills and points per set, while only one other Laser recorded 300 or more points. She reached double-digits in kills 19 times on the year and contributed in that category in every game this season. Her 24 kills on Oct. 25 against Bridgewater State set a new career high, as well as a new program record for kills in a game.
