Odina Ellis Earned GNAC Rookie of the Week Honors
Odina Ellis tallied 40 kills in four matches while helping Lasell to a 2-2 week.

NEWTON, Mass. (9/15/14) - Lasell College freshmwn Odina Ellis earned the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week honors after she helped lead Lasell to a pair of wins.
Ellis posted 40 kills and 12 solo blocks in four matches for Lasell. The first-year middle hitter helped Lasell to a 2-2 week notching 12 kills and four blocks in a 3-2 win against Wentworth and 11 kills and four more solo blocks in a 3-1 victory over Maine Maritime Academy. Ellis also finished with a .189 hitting percentage for the four matches, and the sophomore also made her presence known on the defensive side of the net.
