Lasell Athletics Welcomes Chris Chue as New Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach

Chue has a plethora of volleyball knowledge, garnered from stints coaching with Baystate Volleyball, Beantown Volleyball, Newton South High School, and Northeastern Women’s Volleyball Club team. Coach Chue led the Beantown 17’s to a 2nd place ranking in New England, the Northeastern Women’s Club team to 3rd place finish at Regional’s, and coaching the Newton South program to a state semi-final appearance.
Chue received his Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Northeastern University in 2010. During his time at Northeastern, he played four years with the men’s volleyball club team and was a two-time New England Collegiate Volleyball League (NECVL) All-Tournament team honoree.
Coach Chue has been familiar with the Lasell women’s volleyball program for many years as his mother, Karen Chue, spent a number of years as an assistant coach of the team in the early years of the program’s history. Chue is also currently an active player with the Boston Hurricanes, playing nine-man volleyball. Chue currently lives in Newton, Massachusetts.
