Lasell Women Finish 5th in Inaugural Appearance at Bates Invitational
The Lasell College women's track and field team finished in fifth place Saturday January 21st at the Bates College Invitational. The women turned in several outstanding performances, with several student-athletes setting personal and season records on the day.
Newton, MA - The Lasell College women's track and field team finished in fifth place Saturday January 21st at the Bates College Invitational. The women turned in several outstanding performances, with several student-athletes setting personal and season records on the day.
Kendal Logsdon set a new school record in the 60M dash, with a time of 8.82, also posting a seasons best distance of 9.43M in the long jump. Solange Carpenter also set a new school record, with a time of 30.67 in the 200M dash.
Freshman Brianna Robbins posted a new personal record of 8.59 meters in the triple jump, and a new PR in the shot put with a throw of 8.57 meters. Sophomore Chelsea Zeig had her best day of the season, narrowly missing breaking her own school record, with a distance of 10.05 meters in the shot put.
The women return to the track on Saturday January 28th when they travel to the University of Southern Maine.
