Chicopee, MA - The Lasers faced off against the Elms Blazers on Saturday, aiming to improve their conference ranking.
Lasell came out strong, with Camdyn LaMarre opening the scoring just six minutes into the match, assisted by Peyton Joyce.
Despite their early success, the Lasers found themselves tied when Elms responded with an equalizer in the 23rd minute. Lasell continued to dominate offensively, relentlessly attacking the Blazers' goal and putting pressure on goalkeeper Hailey Magierowski.
However, in a crucial moment, Elms scored their second goal in the 60th minute, taking a 2-1 lead. From that point, Lasell fired off eight more shots on target but was unable to find the back of the net again.
Ultimately, the Lasers fell short, losing 2-1 despite a strong performance and numerous scoring opportunities.
