Beverly, MA - The Lasell University Women's Soccer team lost it's season opener on the road to the Endicott Gulls falling 1-0 on Saturday.
In an out of conference matchup the Lasers couldn't match the Gulls lone goal in the second half. The two teams went into the half tied at 0-0 but a long shot goal in the 77th minute proved to be the deciding factor in the game.
Endicott peppered the net with 31 shots and 16 which were on target. For majority of the match goalie Elizabeth DaSilva did a phenomenal job keeping the Gulls out of the net. She had 15 saves on the day to help keep the Lasers in the fight til late in the second half.
Up Next - The Lasers will travel to Framingham State Wednesday to face off against the Rams in another non-conference contest.
