Chloe Shugrue '20 enters her first season as an Assistant Coach for the Lasell University women's lacrosse team in 2022.

Shugrue played five years of lacrosse for the Lasers, recording 36 goals, 17 assists and 53 points. Additionally, the Worcester, Massachusetts, native recorded 104 ground balls, 97 draw controls and 47 caused turnovers.

Shugrue compiled a superb junior season in 2019, posting career-highs in goals (18), assists (9), points (27), ground balls (40), draw controls (57) and caused turnovers (25), as the Lasers finished 15-4 overall and 9-2 in the GNAC. During Shugrue's time with the program from 2017-21, the unit tallied a 47-16 overall record and a 30-7 mark in the GNAC. The 2018 team reached the conference championship game.

Shugrue has coached high school lacrosse at Advanced Math & Science Academy in Marlborough, Massachusetts. She has also run clinics for XCEL Lacrosse.
