WLAX: Six Lasers Earn All-Conference Honors
Newton, MA- The Lasell University women's lacrosse team earned six postseason honors from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference following a strong 2026 campaign, highlighted by five All-Conference selections and one All-Sportsmanship Team honoree.
Junior attacker Emily Watson led the way with First Team All-GNAC honors after finishing the regular season as the conference leader in points. Watson totaled 38 goals and a career-best 53 assists for 91 points while starting all 17 games. She also contributed 32 ground balls, 42 draw controls, and 23 caused turnovers in another standout all-around campaign.
Sophomore midfielder Ruby Cahill earned Second Team All-GNAC recognition after a breakout offensive season. Cahill led the Lasers with 55 goals and ranked second on the team with 84 points while adding 29 assists across 17 starts. She also surpassed the 100-career point mark this spring and established herself as one of the conference's top scoring threats. Sophomore goalkeeper Tia Spenlinhauer was named to the All-GNAC Second Team after taking over in net and turning in a standout season. In 11 appearances and six starts, Spenlinhauer posted a 6.47 goals-against average and a .569 save percentage while making 62 saves. She stepped up in key moments late in the season, including a 21-save week against Colby-Sawyer in the regular season finale and GNAC quarterfinals to help send Lasell to the conference semifinals.
Sophomore midfielder Mara Boldy earned Third Team honors after delivering a strong two-way season. Boldy totaled 34 goals and three assists for 37 points while adding a team-high 56 ground balls and 45 caused turnovers, proving to be a major factor all over the field. Freshman defender Leila Kollmorgen collected Third Team All-GNAC recognition after emerging as a key piece of Lasell's defense. Kollmorgen recorded 32 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers while starting 15 of 17 games, helping anchor the Lasers on the back end throughout the season.
Sophomore defender Glory Suttles represented Lasell on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team after appearing in all 17 games with 16 starts. She added eight ground balls and six caused turnovers while serving as a steady defensive presence throughout the season.
The honors cap another strong season for the Lasers, who secured the No. 4 seed in the GNAC Tournament.
