The Great Northeast Athletic Conference released their 2013 women's lacrosse coaches poll, with Lasell finishing second out of ten teams. Lasell finished with 89 points, eight points behind three-time defending champion Norwich University. The Lasers finished the 2012 campaign with a program-best 15-3 record, and an 8-1 mark in conference play. They advanced to their second consecutive GNAC championship game, before falling to Norwich and qualified for the ECAC Championships for the second season in a row.
