Lasell Takes 39th in Men's Cross Country ECAC Championship
WESTFIELD, Mass. (11/08/14) – Lasell College finished 39th overall at the ECAC Men’s Cross Country Championship on November 8th with a team time of 2:36.02.
WESTFIELD, Mass. (11/08/14) – Lasell College finished 39th overall at the ECAC Men's Cross Country Championship on November 8th with a team time of 2:36.02.
Lasell gained valuable experience in the meet, competing with some of the top schools in the state such as Amherst College, Trinity College, Williams College, and Tufts University. Williams took first place with a time of 2:10:21, followed by Tufts and Amherst with times of 2:10.39 and 2:11.16, respectively.
Seniors Kyle Northrop and Tyler Schwabe, junior Jeremy Shriber, sophomore Leo Saporta and freshman Nicholas Garifalos represented Lasell College in the Championship meet. Shriber finished first for the Lasers, crossing the finish line at 29:32. Garifalos and Northrop trailed shortly after at 29:37 and 29:51. Saporta and Schwabe were next to finish with times of 35:20 and 40:28.
The Lasers will compete in the NCAA Regional meet on November 15th at Williams College.
