Men’s Cross Country Takes Ninth at Smith College Meet
Alex Weselcouch finished 33rd overall to pace Lasell at the Smith College.
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (9/7/13) – The Lasell College men's cross country team placed ninth overall at the Smith College Invitational. Lasell competed over the 5K course with nine other teams, scoring 232 points in the meet. Sophomore Alex Weselcouch was the first finisher across the line for Lasell, placing 33rd in a time of 17:37.07. Weselcouch was followed by classmate Cameron Wiewel who placed 68th in with a time of 18:30.23.
Junior Kyle Northrop was third across the line for the Lasers, finishing with a final time of 18:40.16 in 76th place. Andrew Panther placed 119th as the fourth Lasell runner with a time of 22:06.66 and Tyler Schwabe was 125th covering the distance in 23:38.3.
Lasell will travel to the University of New England on Saturday September 14th for their next meet.
