Newton, Mass. - Lasell College freshmen Alex Weselcouch (East Haddam, Conn.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for the second time this season. In the 82 runner field at the Runnin' Monks Invitational, Weselcouch finished in fourth place overall, completing the race in 29:37, only 13 seconds of the top overall finisher. His fourth place finish was the top place for the Lasers, propelling them to third in the team standings in the 11 team field.
