MVB: Schultz Named to AVCA All-American Team
Newton, MA- Senior outside hitter Jasper Schultz has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association(AVCA) Division III Second Team All-American, capping off a standout season as one of the nation's top offensive threats.
Schultz, who was also named the GNAC Offensive Player of the Year, led one of the conference's most dynamic attacks throughout the 2026 campaign. The senior totaled 316 kills at a rate of 3.95 per set while hitting .260 on the year, adding 127 digs and 350.0 total points (4.4 per set).
A consistent force on the outside, Schultz recorded double-digit kills in 16 matches, highlighted by a season-high 31-kill performance against nationally-ranked Wentworth. He repeatedly rose to the occasion in high-level matchups, delivering strong performances against some of the top teams in the country.
Schultz's All-American selection marks a significant milestone for the Lasers program, recognizing both his individual excellence and the continued rise of Lasell University men's volleyball on the national stage.
