MVB: Garcia and Shinaut Named to AVCA All Region Team

Newton, MA - The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced their annual All-Region teams on Monday, and two Lasell student-athletes were named to the Northeast All-Region team.

Both Jesus Garcia and Jordan Shinaut were named to the team after their stellar seasons for the Lasers. Garcia, the GNAC Setter of the Year, and first team all conference team member, finished the season leading the team in both digs (180) and set assists (906). He sits in second place in school history with 2,590 kills.

Shinaut, who was named to the GNAC's second team, led the team with 292 kills, and 56 blocks.
