A member of the Lasell coaching staff since 2016, Connors brings an abundance of high-level playing and coaching experience to the program. Connors played professionally as a goalkeeper in the Jamaican National Premier League following his career as the four-year starting goalkeeper and one-year team captain at Vassar College, where he garnered National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Region honors, Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association (UCAA) First Team All-Conference honors, UCAA All-Academic Team honors, and holds the school’s all-time record for most shutouts in a season. During that time, Connors also played intercollegiate NCAA squash and lacrosse. In addition to his professional and collegiate playing career, Connors has significant experience coaching top-level goalkeepers and field players alike at elite camps across the United States.

Connors is a former player of Coach Haynes at multiple levels, including the Olympic Development Program (ODP), premier club, and high school. Connors served as captain of Coach Haynes’ Beaver Country Day School (BCDS) program, where he earned Eastern Independent League (EIL) First-Team All-League honors, EIL All-Academic Team honors, was inducted into the Cum Laude society, and led the team to two New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) championship titles and two undefeated EIL league titles. In 2013, Connors was inducted into the BCDS Athletics Hall of Fame as a member of the 1999 boys’ soccer team. Additionally, Connors served as the starting goalkeeper for the Massachusetts state team and was invited to train with the country’s top young goalkeepers at the Advanced National Training Center at the Nike World Headquarters.

Connors currently works as a business and technology attorney at a leading global cloud-based software company. He received his law degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School, where he was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity and was awarded an American Jurisprudence Award for outstanding course performance, and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School, where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society and, at graduation, was presented with the Highest Honors Graduate Award for highest GPA in the MBA/JD Program.
