Newton, MA- The Lasell University men's soccer team closed out its 2025 campaign with a hard-fought 5–1 loss to the Regis College Pride on Wednesday.
Regis opened the scoring in the 12th minute and doubled its lead just two minutes later to take early control, 2–0. Lasell goalkeeper Reed Brown made several key saves throughout the first half to keep the deficit manageable heading into halftime.
The Pride extended their advantage to 3–0 early in the second half before Lasell found its spark. In the 60th minute, Brent Bickel broke through the Regis defense and slotted one past the keeper to put the Lasers on the board. Regis quickly responded with goals in the 66th and 87th minutes to secure the 5–1 victory.
Despite the tough result, Lasell finishes the 2025 season with an overall record of 4–12–2 and a conference mark of 2–8–2.
