Franklin, MA – The Lasell men's soccer team was handed a tough 5-0 setback by Dean College on Friday afternoon.
The Bulldogs opened the scoring in the 34th minute, then quickly doubled their lead just over a minute later to seize early control. Despite several strong saves from goalkeeper Reed Brown, the Lasers went into halftime trailing 2-0.
Dean carried their momentum into the second half, striking three more times to put the match out of reach. Lasell continued to press forward, with Dillon Winkelmann and Liam Thompson both testing the Dean keeper, but neither chance found the back of the net.
While the scoreline favored the visitors, the Lasers showed determination throughout, creating opportunities in both halves against a well-organized Bulldog defense.
Up Next – Lasell falls to 3-6-2 on the season and will look to bounce back on Tuesday, October 7, when they host Emmanuel College.
