Newton, MA - Lasell secured a solid 3-1 victory over Colby-Sawyer in a tightly contested match.
The scoring opened in the first period with Lasell's Dillon Winkelmann netting an unassisted goal at 14:40, giving Lasell an early lead. Colby-Sawyer responded at 24:31 when Kaden Lewis found the back of the net, assisted by Nick Carrabino, leveling the score at 1-1.
In the second period, Winkelmann struck again at 73:54, assisted by Jonathan Leone, reclaiming the lead for Lasell. The match was sealed for Lasell when Dante Mills scored an unassisted goal at 87:01, making it 3-1.
Freshman goalkeeper Aidan Heipler got the start for the Lasers, but was pulled after a collision in front of the net. Antonio Centracchio stepped in and made four saves for the Lasers to collect the win.
