Newton, MA - Lasell Men's Soccer squared off Thursday afternoon versus Gordon College for a non-conference soccer matchup.
The Fighting Scots jumped on the Lasers early in the contest as just a minute in they were able to find a goal off a rebound on the offensive third to take an early 1-0 lead. However, after this, the Lasers settled in and held serve for the remainder of the first half taking a 1-0 deficit into the halftime break. Goalkeeper Antonio Centracchio who had to replace injured goalie Cameron McDonough in the 13th minute of the first half, was able to keep the Scots out of the back on the net for a long stretch into the second half. He recorded 8 saves on the day but the Scots relentless attack broke through in the 66th, 68th, and 73rd minute which gave them the 4-0 advantage. Daniel Augustine and Dillon Winkelmann paced the Lasers offensively with 2 shots on goal each.
