Salem, MA - The Lasell University Men's Soccer team lost their away debut for the 2024 season on Saturday, falling to Salem State by a score of 2-0.
The game was knotted up at halftime 0-0 but two second-half goals propelled the Vikings to victory. A quick goal out of the halftime break in the 49th minute put Salem State up 1-0. An insurance goal was added in the 78th minute as they held the lead the rest of the way.
Senior forward Shane Previti led the Lasers with 2 shots on goal on the offensive side of the ball. In the net for the Lasers goalie Antonio Centracchio saved 8 out of 10 shots on goal from the Vikings attack.
