Witherbee Selected to Play in NEISL Senior All-Star Match

NEWTON, Mass. (11/24/15) – Senior Taylor Witherbee (East Bridgewater, Mass.) has been selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) Senior All Star Match on Sunday, November 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Brandeis University.

NEWTON, Mass. (11/24/15) – Senior Taylor Witherbee (East Bridgewater, Mass.) has been selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) Senior All-Star Match on Sunday, November 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Brandeis University.

As one of just two Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) representatives on the squad, Witherbee joins the NEISL All Star team after starting in all 16 games for the Lasers. The East Bridgewater, Mass. native held down the defense for Lasell, and added a single assist in its 2015 campaign, leading them to the GNAC post-season tournament for the ninth consecutive year.

In four full seasons as a Laser, Witherbee has played in 62 contests, 33 as a starter, recording one goal and three assists as a major contributor to the Lasell defense.

In a complete roster of 46 players in New England, the senior captain joins the All-Star squad as one of 10 defenders.
