KEENE, N.H. (8/31/14) – The Lasell College men's soccer team fell, 5-0 to Hobart College in the Keene State Kick-off Classic on Sunday afternoon. The Lasers fell to 0-2 on the season while Hobart improved to 1-1.
Joe Busuttil opened the scoring in the seventh minute for the Statesmen, and DJ Clark scored on a corner kick from Marco Ronning to send the teams into the half with Lasell trailing 2-0.
Adrian Colmenares made it 3-0 in the 55th minute, and Patrick Schultz added the fourth Hobart goal in the 61st minute. Clard scored his second of the match in the 78th minute to produce the 5-0 final.
Miguel Colmenares made three saves in the match for the Lasers. Lasell will return to action on Sunday September 7th when they host Pine Manor College at 12:00 p.m.
