NEWTON, Mass. (10/31/13) - The Lasell College men's soccer team captured the Great Northeast Athletic Conference regular season crown with a record of 13-3-1 overall and 7-1-1 in conference matches to earn the number one seed in the conference tournament. Tha Lasers will host 8th seeded Rivier University on Sunday November 3rd at 1:30 p.m. at Lasell's Taylor Field.
Lasell defeated the Raiders 4-0 on October 23rd, getting goals from four different players as they outshot Rivier 30-9 in the match. Lasell drew 0-0 at #4 seed Norwich University and dropped a 2-1 decision at #3 seed Johnson and Wales University in their only two conference blemishes. Lasell also played a pair of one goal games against #5 seed Mount Ida College and #7 seed Albertus Magnus.
