Newton, Mass - Lasell College men's soccer player Mike Skelton (No. Conway, N.H.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for his play in a pair of conference matches. Skelton scored three goals, including two game winning goals, while helping the Lasers go 2-0 on the week and remain unbeaten in the GNAC at 6-0. He netted a pair of tallies in the opening 20 minutes of the Lasers 5-1 victory at Emerson, and then scored the opening goal of his side's 2-0 road win at Anna Maria.
The junior has scored 10 goals through the first 11 matches, including scoring in the last four times he has taken the pitch.
