Henniker, NH - The Lasell University men's lacrosse team traveled to play the Pilgrims of New England College on Thursday afternoon in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) matchup. The Lasers were able to outscore the Pilgrims in each of the first three quarters and coasted to a 14-8 win.
Lasell held a 3-2 edge over NEC after the first quarter, but would open the game up in the second, outscoring the Pilgrims 4-1 and expanding the lead to 7-3. Opening the second half, the Lasers poured in four more goals in the third and commanded an 11-5 edge behind goals from Jason Martin, Sam Patenaude, Jack Condon, and Ryan Stone. The Lasers then proceeded to score three more goals in the final frame, and kept the Pilgrims at bay to secure the 14-8 victory. With the win, the Lasers improve to 10-4 (7-0 GNAC) and the Pilgrims drop to 8-7 (4-3 GNAC).
Ryan Stone (4 goals) and Jack Condon (3 goals) each had hat-tricks on Thursday. Stone also tied for a team-high two assists with Sam Guilmette, Will McCarthy, Jason Martin, and Nate Campbell all joining him with two. Goalie Michael Catalano had 10 saves and is now 8-4 in the net this year.
