David Walen earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week honors for the second time this season

Newton, Mass. (4/22/13) - Lasell College sophomore goalkeeper David Walen earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week honors for the second time this season.
Walen helped Lasell to a 1-1 week while posting a 5.31 goals against average. The sophomore goaltender made 20 saves in a 4-3 2OT victory over Emmanuel, then followed that performance up by making 16 saves in a 9-8 3OT loss to Mount Ida. Walen's saved 75% of the shots he faced in the two games.
