Walen Nabs Goalkeeper of the Week Honors from the GNAC

Newton, Mass. (4/1/13) - Lasell College sophomore goalkeeper David Walen (Longmeadow, Mass.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for his performance in three GNAC victories this week for the Lasers.
Walen helped the Lasers post a 3-0 record on the week, notching all three victories in goal for Lasell. The sophomore registered 23 saves on the week including 10 saves in a 15-7 GNAC victory over Rivier University. Over the three GNAC wins, Walen posted a 7.16 goals against average and an impressive .575 save percentage
