Newton, MA-
Lasell powered past Wentworth, 98–90, behind a dominant second-half surge led by Esmer Madesko, who finished with 31 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds, and Andy Madesko, who added a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double with six assists.
After trailing 43–41 at halftime, the Lasers opened the second period on a decisive 16–4 run fueled by transition scoring, interior finishes from Andy Madesko, and timely shooting from Che Hanks and Cameron Nell.
Strong bench production from Quinton Partee Jr., Tyler Costin, and Daniel Edmonds helped Lasell maintain control, while Ivan Yen anchored the defense with 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and a block.
Lasell finished shooting 48.5% from the floor, won the rebounding battle 49–43, and outscored Wentworth at the free-throw line 26–16, creating the separation needed in a fast-paced, high-scoring matchup. The Leopards knocked down 12 threes and shot 76% from the line, but Lasell's interior strength ultimately proved too much.
Up Next- The lasers will be back in action taking on Babson on Tuesday November 15. Tip off is set for 7:00PM in the Athletic Center.
