Babson Park, MA - The Lasell Men's Basketball team fell to Babson on Wednesday 86-53, dropping their season opening game. This marked the second consecutive season that the Lasers have started their season off with a loss to the Beavers.
The Beavers got out to a quick start, outscoring the Lasers 16-4 over the first six minutes. The Lasers would cut it to seven, but were never able to make it a one possession game. They trailed 41-21 at halftime. It was a similar story in the second half, as the Lasers would go on to lose 86-53.
The Lasers were led in scoring by Greg Farrow, who scored 16 points off the bench. He shot 6-12 from the field. Marcus Lewis was the only other Laser to score in double-digits, scoring 11. Cameron Foster-Martez led the Lasers with five rebounds and four steals.
