MBB: Day Named to NABC All-American and All-Region Teams

Newton, MA - This week the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced their All-Region and All-American teams for the 2022-2023 season. Lasell's EJ Day was named to the District 1 All-Region First Team, and the N ACB Division III All-American Third Team.

These honors come after Day's historic season. The Norwalk, CT native led the country in scoring with 25.8 ppg, and led the team in assists per game (6.1), as well as steals per game (2.6). Day shot 42.7% from the field, and 37.9% from three point range. He scored more than 25 points 14 times on the season, including twice going for over 40. Day also posted the top two single game assists totals in school history, dishing out 18 and 14 assists in back to back games.

Day will play in the NABC Division III All-Star Game later this week.

The All-District and All-American honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division III.
