MBB: EJ Day Named to D3hoops.com Team of the Week

Newton, MA - D3hoops.com named EJ Day to their Team of the Week for his performance this past week. This comes after Day's historic performance in the Lasers' 90-69 win over the Saint joseph's (ME).

In the game against the Monks, Day broke the Lasell school record for most assists in a game, dishing out 18 assists, breaking the previous record of 13. Additionally, he also scored 36 points on 15-22 shooting. Of the Lasers' 90 points, Day scored or assisted on 75 of them.

On the season, Day ranks 3rd in the country in points per game, 4th in assists per game with 7.6, and 5th in steals per game with 3.5. During the season he has climbed the ranks in Lasell school history in these categories as well. Going from 15th to 7th in scoring (1,207 points), 11th to 4th in assists (249), and 11th to 3rd in steals (122).

The Men's Basketball team will return after winter break to host Elms on January 3, 2023. That game will start at 7:30pm.
