MBB: EJ Day Named GNAC Player of the Week

On Monday Afternoon, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) named Lasell guard EJ Day (Norwalk, CT) the Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Highlighted by a 45-point outburst on the road in a win over NEC, the senior Day averaged 37.0 points with 5.0 rebounds in Lasell's 1-1 opening week. He shot 48.9% overall (22-45), 37.5% from three (6-16), and 77.4% from the FT line (24-31). In a 76-65 season-opening setback versus Babson, Day had 29 points and six rebounds, before going off for his points on an impressive 15-of-22 shooting performance, including 3-of-7 from beyond the arc.
The Men's Basketball team will be back in action on Tuesday, November 15th when they travel to Eastern Nazarene for a 7:30pm tipoff.
