Campbell Earns Rookie of the Week Honors

NEWTON, MA- Zachary Campbell, a freshman forward from Cape Coral, Florida, is the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week.
Campbell earned his first start of the season on Tuesday night against Suffolk University at the Lasell College Athletic Center. The rookie played in 31 minutes of the overtime contest during which time he shot 5-for-10 from the field, scoring ten points while also grabbing four rebounds and dishing out three assists. He also produced two steals and one block in the game. Campbell was one of three Lasers to score in double-figures against the Rams.
The Lasell College men's basketball team travels to nationally ranked no. 23 Amherst College tonight, Tuesday, November 30th for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
