Theard Scores 29 in Loss to WPI
Newton, MA--The Lasers opened their home season tonight facing unbeaten WPI. Although, the Lasers never had the lead, they kept the game close the whole way through. Lasell was down by as much as 12 but battled back late in the second half to cut the deficit to two. The tying basket fell short and WPI went on to win the game 81-67.

First year player Lance Theard (New Orleans, LA) led all scorers with 29 including going 5-8 from behind the arc. Sophomore Javon Williams (Mattapan, MA) continues to be a big contributer; putting up 18 points, pulling down 7 rebounds and grabbing 4 steals. Senior guard Charles Horton (Detroit, MI) had 10 assists in the loss.
The men fall to 1-3 overall and will travel to Albertus Magnus on Saturday, December 5th for their first conference game. Game time is 3:00 p.m.
