Javon Williams Scores 19 in 72-61 Win Over Babson
Newton, MA—The Lasers continued their winning ways tonight, defeating tough non-conference opponent Babson College at home. The game was tight in the first half, with Lasell trailing by four at the break. The Lasers came out on fire in the second half, building their lead to as much as 16 points with three minutes left in the game. The men were able to hold onto the lead, and won the game 72-61.

The men were able to hold onto the lead, and won the game 72-61.
Forward Javon Williams (Mattapan, MA) played well all around for the Lasers, scoring 19 points. He also picked up six rebounds, four steals, two blocks and two assists. Three other Lasers scored in double digits as well, helping the team earn their third win this season. Sophomore Dominik Orlow (Slupsk, Poland) scored 13 points while senior Sean Joynes (Philadelphia, PA) and freshman Justin Harris (New Orleans, LA) each scored 12 points.
For Babson, Marcus McDermott (Milton, MA) led the Beavers in scoring with 13 followed by Russell Braithwaite (Brooklyn, NY) who scored 10 points and collected nine rebounds.
The men pick up their second win in a row and third win overall for a combined record of 3-4. The Lasers will host Amherst College on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
