FALCONS FALL LATE TO VISITING LASELL COLLEGE 90-83

In New Haven on Saturday afternoon the Albertus Magnus College Men's Basketball Team trailed 50-40 at half time and as much as 15 in the second half but rallied to cut the lead to 3 with just 2 minutes to play in the second half.  In a battle of unbeaten GNAC teams, Lasell pulled out the eventual 90-83 victory.  Albertus was lead by a game high 25 points and team high 13 rebounds from freshman forward Raymond Askew (New Haven, CT).  Lasell College was lead by senior forward Jose Guitian (Miami, FL) and his team high 24 points and game high 17 rebounds.  Lasell College improves  to 6-4, 4-0 GNAC while Albertus Magnus College drops to 6-4, 2-1 GNAC.  The Falcons travel to Emmanuel College on January 13, 2009 with a 7:30 PM Tip-Off, and Lasell meets Norwich College on the same date at Norwich at 6:00 p.m.
