GUITIAN MAKES GNAC WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

 Jose Guitian, of Miami, Florida, has been selected to the GNAC weekly honor roll for the second straight week.  Last week, Guitian was selected after producing two double-doubles in as many days and being selected to the All-Tournament team at the Roger Williams University Tip-Off Tournament.   Guitian recorded 46 points, 25 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks over the two-game weekend for Lasell.   He was also the high scorer and high rebounder in the Lasers 77-78 loss to Western Connecticut, scoring 28 points and pulling down 13 boards.

This week, senior co-captain Guitian was chosen after putting up 26 points and grabbing ten boards against 17th-ranked WPI and producing the game-best in both categories.  During the WPI game, Guitian also dished out 3 assists, blocked two shots, and made three steals. 

 Guitian is currently ranked 4th in the GNAC in scoring with 76 points in 4 games, averaging 19.0 points per game, as well as 4th in blocks per game with 1.8.  He is first in the league in rebounding, with 43 boards, averaging 10.8 per game.  Guitian's free throw percentage is 81%, making him 10th in the league,  and he is 8th in steals, with 7 total and 1.8 per game.
