BSB: Lasell Baseball Lands Three All-Conference Selections, One All-Sportsmanship Honoree
Newton, MA- The Lasell University baseball team was recognized by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference following the 2026 season, with three players earning All-Conference honors and one student-athlete named to the league's All-Sportsmanship Team.
Junior outfielder Declan Silva headlined the group with First Team All-Conference honors after putting together one of the most productive offensive seasons in the GNAC. Silva started all 41 games for the Lasers and led the team with a .416 batting average, totaling 67 hits, 37 RBI, and 34 runs scored. He showcased consistent extra-base power with 15 doubles, two triples, and four home runs for a .609 slugging percentage while posting a .449 on-base percentage. Silva also proved to be one of Lasell's most reliable hitters throughout the season, striking out just 21 times in 161 at-bats while serving as a key catalyst at the top of the lineup.
Graduate third baseman Tim Callahan earned a spot on the GNAC Third Team after serving as a steady presence in Lasell's lineup throughout the season. A veteran leader for the Lasers, Callahan appeared in all 41 games and was a consistent force near the top of the order, totaling 56 hits while ranking among the team leaders in both runs scored and RBI. He also added extra-base production at the plate while providing reliable defense at third base, helping lead Lasell back to the conference tournament.
Graduate designated hitter Connor Freitas also earned GNAC Third Team honors after serving as a key run producer in the middle of Lasell's lineup throughout the season. Freitas appeared in all 41 games and ranked among the team leaders in RBI while delivering timely hits in key moments.
Senior Callahan Bullens rounded out Lasell's honorees by being named to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
