Team Stats
Johnson & Wales
Providence, RI- In a high-scoring battle, the offense stayed hot, but pitching struggles proved costly in a 13–9 loss against Johnson and Wales
The lineup racked up 14 hits and showed consistent production throughout. Declan Silva led the charge with a dominant 4-for-5 performance and two RBIs, while Jonah Nielsen added three hits, scored twice, and drove in a run. Bobby Long provided a big swing with a two-run home run and finished with two RBIs, and Tyler McDonald chipped in with two RBIs of his own.
The team also applied pressure on the bases, swiping multiple bags, including four from Silva, creating scoring opportunities all game long.
Despite the offensive firepower, the team couldn't keep pace on the mound. The pitching staff allowed 13 runs on 16 hits, with runs coming in nearly every inning. While Shea Caton delivered a clean inning and Michael Webber helped stabilize things briefly, late-game struggles allowed the Wildcats to pull away.
Up Next- The Lasers will be back in action on Saturday April 18 when they travel to face Norwich.
